Many women in history are written about in terms of their relationships with men. “Mother of”, “sister of”, or “wife of” are often the only names given to women whose lives were shaped as much by their own desires as that of the men to whom they are linked. Women in Idaho history are no different. This blog aims to shed light on some of these women and tell their stories, not in context of who they were related to, but who they were.
